Brigadier General Tariq inspects progress of hospital and fish unloading dock in Al Khawkha

HODEIDAH - SABA

Member of the Presidential Leadership Council Tariq Saleh inspected the progress of construction work at Al Khawkha Central Hospital and a fish unloading dock at Al-Khawkha area in Hodeidah.

Brigadier Tariq was briefed on the construction and equipment stages of Al Khawkha Central Hospital that is being built with funding from the United Arab Emirates and will provide integrated health services to the residents of the region and neighboring areas, stressing the necessity of completing the project on time, and maintaining the quality of work and the required technical specifications.

Brigadier General Tariq also visited a fish unloading dock under construction by the United Nations World Food Programme, which aims to enhance the capabilities of fishermen and improve their income and standard of living.

The project officials on the site gave the Leadership Council member an account on the project's facilities and services and the benefits that the fish sector and fishermen will gain from it.

Tariq Saleh stressed the importance of supporting the productive and service sectors in the liberated areas, and ensuring an appropriate environment for their growth and development.
