Minister of Information, Culture and Tourism Muammer al-Eryani said" Cultural Heritage of Yemen both tangible and intangible ones is a testimony verifies great history and a diverse civilization, it is a key feature of the Yemeni identity and a precious treasure must be preserved".
He made his statement today, Tuesday, at the conclusion of a training program held in Cairo organized by the Organization of the Islamic World for Culture, Sciences from 18 to 23 of this month.
15 Yemeni trainees, from the General Organization for the Antiquities and Museums and the authorities in charge of the protection of the Yemeni historical cities and cultural heritage, attended the training programs.
The Minister urged the Yemeni people to join efforts and do more to protect the Yemeni culture heritage.
"Amid current exceptional circumstances created by the terrorist Houthi militias' coup, the Yemeni historical heritage and culture deliberately targeted, all Yemenis must work jointly to protect our national identity and culture", said al-Eryani.
