Member of the Presidential Leadership Council Major General Aidaroos Al-Zubaidi held a series of important meetings on the sidelines of his participation in the World Economic Forum held in Davos, Switzerland.
On the sidelines of his participation in the forum, a member of the Presidential Leadership Council met with US Senator Mike Rounds to discuss the ongoing Houthi escalation in the Red Sea and Bab al-Mandab and its repercussions on the humanitarian situation and the UN-sponsored peace process to restore stability in Yemen.
Major General Al-Zubaidi also met with Iraqi Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein and discussed with him bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries and the tension witnessed in the region and its repercussions on the political and humanitarian situation.
Major General Al-Zubaidi held a series of meetings with a number of heads of study and research centers and met with a number of diplomats.
The meetings focused on the Houthi escalation in the Red Sea and Bab al-Mandab and the developments of the peace process led by the United Nations and its outcomes in light of the rapid changes taking place in the region.Major General Al-Zubaidi is scheduled to hold a series of bilateral meetings with heads of delegations and foreign ministers from a number of brotherly and friendly countries on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum activities to shed light on the humanitarian situation in Yemen in light of the escalation practiced by the Houthi militias in the Red Sea and Bab al-Mandab.
