Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr. Ahmed bin Mubarak discussed with the non-resident Australian Ambassador to Yemen Mark Donovan and the non-resident ambassador of New Zealand Barney Riley the bilateral relations between Yemen and their countries.

Talks focused on ways to strengthen and develop the bilateral ties, and developments in the region and the sea Red and available means to ensure security and stability there as well as the recent developments in the Gaza Strip, in light of the brutal aggression launched by the Israeli occupation against civilians in the Strip, and the importance of working to stop the aggression and genocide committed by the occupation.

The ambassadors of Australia and New Zealand affirmed their countries' support for the government in Yemen, and stressed the importance of achieving security and stability in Yemen and realizing the aspirations of the Yemeni people and renewed their support for the international efforts made to find a comprehensive political solution that ends the Yemeni crisis.
