Minister of Youth and Sports Nayef Al-Bakri discussed with his Qatari counterpart Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Thani ways to enhance and develop bilateral cooperation between the two brotherly countries.
Minister Al-Bakri praised Qatar’s support for sports in Yemen by hosting training camps for national teams, and the great development of sports infrastructure in Qatar, which made it a center for holding various sports tournaments.
He referred to the memorandum of understanding that had previously been discussed between the two ministries, which included a number of programs in the field of training and rehabilitation and benefiting from accumulated national experiences.
In turn, the Qatari Minister stressed the importance of strengthening cooperation in the sports and youth fields and the necessity of coordinating efforts and exchanging experiences, renewing his country’s interest in supporting sports in Yemen.
