Deputy Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Dr. Nizar Basuhayb discussed with the UNDP – Aden office Programs Directors Abdel Moneim Mustafa here today the most prominent projects that were accomplished last year and future plans for the current year.

The meeting reviewed a number of topics related to projects completed during the year 2023, which included social protection projects to enhance social cohesion in vulnerable communities, responding to enhancing food security, enhancing institutional and economic flexibility, and renewable energy to improve access to services.

The meeting also touched on the aspects implemented in the completion plan for the projects, which included the comprehensive access to justice project, rehabilitation of the fishing port, development of the value chain in Aden, United Nations peace support, training and support for professional and commercial skills, the second phase, as well as the emergency project to remove landmines, improving the efficiency of the seaport of Aden, and enhancing the ability to resilience through sustainable management of water resources.
