Yemen participated in the launch of the third edition of the International Mining Conference, held in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, with a delegation headed by Minister of Oil and Minerals, Dr. Saeed Al-Shammasi.
Over the course of three days, the conference, with the participation of more than 80 countries, will discuss the future of the mining sector and develop solutions to the challenges facing the system.
The Minister of Oil and Minerals said Yemen’s participation in the conference comes within the framework of the government’s keenness to strengthen cooperation with brotherly and friendly countries in the field of mining, and to exchange experiences and knowledge in this vital sector.
