Minister of Social Affairs and Labor Dr. Mohammed al-Zaouri contributed today, Wednesday, to the deliberations of the 43th Session of the Council of Arab Social Ministers held in Cairo from 18 to 21 December 2023.
He delivered a speech in which he underlined the economic and humanitarian crisis Yemen has been experiencing as a result of the devastating war triggered by the terrorist Houthi militias.
The Minister cited the government's efforts to manage the economic hardships amid formidable challenges exacerbated by the Houthi militias' terrorist attacks on oil facilities that prevent the country from its major sources of economic revenues.
