Yemen Says Houthi Militia Poses Direct Threat to Regional Peace, Condemns Attacks on Gulf Infrastructure
Yemen has affirmed that the Iran-backed Houthi militia poses a direct threat to regional peace and security and to international navigation, saying the group is a tool used to undermine Yemen’s sovereignty and stability, disrupt basic services, and obstruct the delivery of humanitarian assistance to those in need.

Yemen, Qatar discuss economic, political developments

Minister of Foreign and Expatriate Affairs Ahmad Awadh BinMubarak discussed Sunday with Qatari Prime Minister, the Minister of Foreign Affairs Mohammad bin Abdulrahman Al Thani mutual relations between the two countries and means of enhancing and developing them.

In the meeting, which has been held on the sidelines of Doha International Forum, the two parties discussed a number of cooperation aspects. BinMubarak expressed appreciation to Qatari humanitarian and developmental assistances to Yemeni people.

BinMubarak reviewed latest developments of the political and economic situations in Yemen and regional efforts aiming at ending Houthi militia's coup followed by achieving just and inclusive peace on the bases of the internationally agreed upon references.

For his part, the Qatari Prime Minister confirmed significance of enhancing mutual relations between the two countries and promoting coordination and cooperation level in different developmental fields.
He reconfirmed his country's firm position supporting the legitimacy in Yemen, its unity, security and safety, as well as supporting all efforts aiming at realizing inclusive, just and permanent peace in Yemen.
