Minister of Water and Environment, Eng. Tawfiq Al-Sharjabi, opened a workshop organized by the International Organization for Migration, on addressing the relationship between climate change, vulnerabilities, and human mobility through developing policies, relevant data, and informed evidence on risks.

In the workshop held on the sidelines of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP28) in Dubai, Minister Al-Sharjabi reviewed the challenges and opportunities represented in producing evidence-based research to develop policies and maintain resilience and sustainable systems for food, land and water in Yemen... stressing the the importance of making more efforts to enhance resilience and social cohesion, and build the resilience of displaced and host communities to address fragility and reduce climate risks.
