An economic and technical cooperation agreement was signed between the government of the Republic of Yemen and the government of the People's Republic of China, with a grant worth 100 million Chinese yuan to support the implementation of development projects and humanitarian aid.
The agreement was signed on the sidelines of the Second Forum for Development Cooperation between China and the Indian Ocean Countries, held in the Chinese city of Kunming.
