Yemen, Morocco sign judiciary cooperation agreement

General Prosecution of Yemen signed Thursday here with its counterpart of Morocco a Memo of Understanding in Judiciary and legal field.

The treaty, which was signed by General Prosecutor Judge Qaher Mustafa of Yemeni Party and General Agent of the King of Morocco in Appeal Court Al Hassan Al Daki of Moroccan Party, aims at enhancing cooperation between the two parties in issues related to money laundering, terrorism and organized crime.

The memo stipulates on holding meetings, consultations, organizing state visits, training courses and conferences, as well as symposiums in quick issues.

Judge Mustafa confirmed that this agreement comes in the framework of enhancing continuous cooperation with brothers in Morocco and will also contribute in exchanging expertise and joint cooperation between general prosecutions of the two countries.

For his part, the Moroccan official pointed out that this memo will enhance justice cooperation between the two countries and will contribute in unifying visions and mechanisms of fighting crossing-border crime.
