President Dr. Rashad Muhammad Al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, Yemen’s support for the honorable position of the Arab Republic of Egypt toward the Palestinian cause, and rejected any attempts to end it and displace its people struggling to establish their fully sovereign national state.

In a reception, today, of the Egyptian Ambassador, Ahmed Farouk, the Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council praised the Egyptian efforts that led to a temporary humanitarian truce to exchange detainees, expressing his hope that these joint efforts with the brothers in the State of Qatar will lead to a comprehensive and sustainable solution that will end the suffering of the Palestinian people, and ensures the fulfillment of their just aspirations in accordance with international resolutions and the Arab Peace Initiative.

The meeting discussed bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries and ways to develop them in various fields. It also touched on the contributions of the Yemeni leadership, government and people to relief the Palestinian people, and options for transferring Yemeni humanitarian aid in coordination with the Egyptian authorities.
