Agriculture Minister, UNDP review joint cooperation in fishery sector

Minister of Agriculture, Irrigation and Fishery Salim Assoqatri held discussions today, Monday, with the UNDP's team over joint coordination and cooperation about the projects in fishery sector.
The conversations covered several topics including the technical studies relating to the project aiming to reconstruct the fishing harbor in Aden and the ongoing preparation to carry out the first phase of the project.
The two phases project total cost is $35 million funded by the German Development Bank.
The planned project of the fishery farms in the Red Sea and Arabian Sea which to be carried out by the UNDP the Public Works Project was also elaborately discussed.
The project is designed to renovate 8 centers for fishery unloading in several governorates.
