Prime Minister Dr. Ma'een Abdulmalik stressed the importance of establishing robust and effective partnership between the government's institutions and the international organizations which are interested in the development and relief actions.
To support his argument Dr. Ma'een cited the issuing of the outcomes of the multi-indicators field survey about the situation of some segments of the society such as women, youths and girls.
The cluster survey conducted by the Central Organization for Statistics (COS) in partnership with the UNICEF.
" Without statistics, there are no plans, no indicators and nothing can be measured", said Ma'een.
His remark came in the speech he delivered today, Sunday, in the temporary capital Aden at the gathering held to release the Report of the Multi-Indicators Cluster Survey.
The survey included 42 of the basic indicators of the Sustainable Developments Goals.
The Prime Minister extended his thanks to the COS's team work for the tireless efforts they made to conduct the survey which funded by the UNIECEF.
He described the survey as of paramount important for the development plans given that it is the first of its kind to be conducted since 2006.
