Al-Maitami seeks more Chinese scholarships for Yemeni students

Ambassador of the Republic of Yemen to Beijing Dr. Mohammed al-Maitami met today, Friday, with the Deputy of the Secretary General of the Chinese Scholarships Council Tian Lolo to discuss cultural cooperation between the two countries.
He highly praised the significant support of the People's of Republic of China for Yemen in different fields including scholarships for the Yemeni students in the Chinese educational institutions.
Al-Maitami sought for further scholarships for the Yemeni students, deeply appreciating the Chinese support for the Yemeni students through the Scholarship Fund, universities and institutes all over the Chinese provinces and cities.
The Chinese official stated that the Chinese Scholarships Fund is willing to increase cultural and academic cooperation and to activate the agreements which signed between the two counties.
