Deputy Minister of Human Rights for the Partnership and International Cooperation Sector, Nabil Abdel Hafeez, discussed with the Deputy High Commissioner for Human Rights ways to enhance cooperation and joint work regarding national reports on human rights, raising the capabilities of the report preparation team, and training the national human rights staff.
In the meeting, on the sidelines of the 54th session of the Human Rights Council in Geneva, Hafeez touched on the latest developments in the humanitarian situation in Yemen in light of the escalation of the terrorist Houthi militia and the militia's grave violations of human rights since its coup against the state eight years ago and its ignition of a civil war in the country in implementation of Iranian agenda.
