Mujawar: 88% of Yemenis live difficult conditions over militia's war

Yemen's Permanent Representative to the European Union here Dr. Ali Mujawar has said 88 precent of Yemeni people suffer from extremely difficult economic conditions over Houthi terrorist militia's triggered war

" About 5 million people are displaced, 3.3 million of them in liberated areas are in tragic conditions and are in bad need of securing their humanitarian needs and help them find ways to depend on themselves in having decent livelihood," said Mujawar in Yemen's speech during the meeting of the Executive Committee of the UN High Commission for Refugees.

Dr. Mujawar confirmed that the government is doing its best with help of regional and international community but faces challenges to face waves of internally displacing, pointing out to significance of concentrating on support to the public services to provide services to displaced people, returnees and hosting societies.

He touched upon migration from the Horn of Africa, which also poses a burden to Yemeni authorities and the bad need of integrative and coordinative intervention to solve this problem.
