Chief of the General Staff and Commander of Joint Operations, Lieutenant General Dr. Saghir bin Aziz, discussed with a number of military attaches in Arab and foreign embassies in Yemen aspects of cooperation in the military and security field.
The Chief of the General Staff met separately in Riyadh with the US British, French, Egyptian, Japanese, and Indian military attachés.
The separate meetings discussed ways to strengthen bilateral relations in the military and security field, which contributes to raising the capabilities and efficiency of the Yemeni armed forces, especially in the field of training and qualification, and the technical field, and supporting the capabilities of the border guard forces, naval forces, coastal defense, and air forces.
He also discussed with them cooperation and coordination in efforts to combat terrorism and smuggling and to ensure the security of international maritime navigation in light of the threats posed by the terrorist Houthi militia and the militia's backer-Iran.
