Minister of Interior, Major General Ibrahim Haidan, praised the security cooperation between the Republic of Yemen and the State of Kuwait, especially the efforts of the brotherly State of Kuwait in training Yemeni security personnel, including the Interior Ministry's personnel.

During his meeting today with the Kuwaiti Ambassador to Yemen, Falah Al-Hajraf, Minister Haidan also appreciated the Kuwaiti support for the security services, whether in the police hospital project, or in granting police college seats to employees of the Ministry of Interior, or in the field of cybersecurity... stressing the strength of relations between the two brotherly countries.

The Minister of Interior indicated that the State of Kuwait stood by Yemeni government against the coup of the terrorist Houthi militia, and hosted the consultations in 2016, which came to no avail due to the intransigence and terrorism of the Houthi terrorist group.

For his part, the Kuwaiti ambassador renewed his country's position in support of Yemen and its people, indicating its keenness to support and develop the Yemeni security services, stressing that the security of Yemen is the security of the countries of the Arabian Peninsula, wishing that security and peace would prevail in all parts of Yemen.
