The head and members of the National Enquiry Commission into Allegations of Human Rights Violations has briefed today a number of members of the House of Representatives, the Shura Council, civil society and media professionals on the commission’s efforts to reach the greatest extent of violations and investigate them in preparation for accountability and justice for the victims.
During the meeting held at the headquarters of the Yemeni Embassy in Cairo, the Chairman of the commission, Judge Ahmed Al-Maflhi, touched on the content of the eleventh periodic report, and the outcomes that the commission reached from the results of field investigations and visits to various detention centers and prisons... stressing the importance of cooperation between all components, especially the two chambers of the parliament, the active civil society organizations, and media professionals.
