The Arab Republic of Egypt has condemned the heinous terrorist attack carried out by the Houthi group against the Defense Force of the Kingdom of Bahrain, stationed on the southern border of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which resulted in the martyrdom of two officers and the injury of others while performing their national duty within the coalition forces “Coalition to Support Legitimacy in Yemen” and participating in the operations to Restore Hope.

In a statement, the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirmed Egypt’s full solidarity with the Kingdom of Bahrain as a result of this treacherous terrorist attack, stressing the need to continue concerted regional and international efforts to confront terrorism in all its forms, and to put an end to practices aimed at destabilizing Arab countries.

It expressed sincere condolences and sympathy to the leadership and people of the Kingdom of Bahrain, and to the families of the victims in this affliction... praying to the Almighty God to cover the martyrs with His vast mercy, to inspire their families with patience and solace, and to grant the wounded and injured a speedy recovery.
