Multi-sectoral emergency response project launched to support IDPs in Marib

The multi-sectoral emergency response project to support the displaced and other vulnerable groups was launched in Marib Governorate today, which is implemented by the Bina Foundation for Development, with funding from the German Foreign Aid Office in partnership with the Diakonie Catstro-Finic Organization, by holding an introductory workshop on the project for various relevant government agencies and offices that included 28 participants.

At the opening of the workshop, Marib deputy governor for administrative affairs, Abdullah Al-Bakri, stressed the importance of making the most of the assistance provided by humanitarian partners to finance the humanitarian response to the needs of the displaced and the host community, whether in its emergency or recovery aspects, stressing the importance of coming up with a coordination mechanism between the Bina Foundation for Development implementing the project and the authorities.
