On the sidelines of the seventy-eighth session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York today, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and, Dr. Ahmed bin Mubarak, met with the Special Representative of the Secretary-General on Sexual Violence during Conflict.

The two sides discussed aspects of cooperation between Yemen and her office, especially in light of the violations documented in areas under the control of the Houthi militias and the systematic use of sexual violence by those militias as a weapon against women.
