Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr. Ahmed bin Mubarak, discussed with the Chairman Joint Committee for the redeployment in Hodeidah, Maj. Gen. Michael Perry the activity of the United Nations Mission to Support the Hodeidah Agreement and issues related to its tasks.

The meeting touched on the repeated violations by the Houthis in Hodeidah Governorate and their military reinforcements towards the governorate, and their repeated announcement of conducting missile tests in the Red Sea from the ports of Hodeidah, Saleef and Ras Issa, as well as the increasing number of victims of mines that they planted on farms and residential neighborhoods and the damage to civilians, especially in the Maqbanah area in the Hodeidah Governorate. Taiz...again calling on the United Nations to transfer the headquarters of its mission to support the Hodeidah Agreement (UNMHA) to the liberated areas, or a neutral area, and not leave it hostage to Houthi influences and blackmailing.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs stressed the need for the mission to carry out its basic tasks in accordance with international resolutions and oblige Houthi militias to implement their obligations in accordance with the Stockholm Agreement, expressing the government’s readiness to overcome all the difficulties it faces.
