The Ministry of Finance confirmed that the decision to pay the salaries of central and local authority employees through qualified banks, starting from this August, is part of the directions of the Presidential Leadership Council, the efforts of the government, and the understandings with donors for our country, in order to implement comprehensive reforms in the financial, economic and administrative aspects, and to fight corruption.

In a statement to the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), an official source at the Ministry of Finance in the temporary capital, Aden, reaffirmed the keenness of the government and the Ministry of Finance to take the necessary measures to confront and combat financial and administrative corruption in state institutions, and to make optimal use of the support provided by Yemen's development partners, led by the brothers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

He also affirmed that the government and the Ministry of Finance are moving forward in confronting financial and administrative corruption, drying up its sources in state institutions, and correcting imbalances in the salary file of civil, military and security employees, by implementing the decision to pay the salaries of central and local authority employees through qualified banks, which will contribute significantly to controlling any manipulation and payment of salaries.
