The Council of Ministers held its session today, Sunday, in the temporary capital Aden presided over by Prime Minister Dr. Ma'een Abdulmalik.
The meeting devoted to review the progress in the implementation of the government's plans and efforts to address the pressing needs and top priorities in the economic, services, security and military spheres.
The Prime Minister urged all Ministries to double down the efforts, doing their utmost actions within the available resources and capacities to improve the basic services.
He stressed that it is very important to keep close monitoring over the markets to control the prices and adopt zero-tolerance with the wrongdoers.
The Cabinet discussed the proposals about establishing the High Committee for Tenders and ordered the ministerial committee in charge to work on preparing the necessary provisions and standards and to receive the candidates' applications, review them and report about that to the Cabinet.
The Cabinet heard a report by the Ministry of Defense about the military situations amid the continuous military escalations by the terrorist Houthi militias.
