Prime Minister Dr. Maeen Abdulmalik was briefed by the Ministers of Electricity and Aden Governor, on the measures implemented to address power outages in Aden, and the ongoing plan to supply power plants with their needs of oil derivatives necessary for operation and alleviating the suffering of citizens.
The Ministers of Electricity and the State, the Governor of Aden, explained that the gradual improvement in the electric current service and the decrease in the number of hours of interruption have begun, with the start of the flow of fuel arriving at power stations and the unloading of 23,000 metric tons of diesel and fuel oil to the tanks of Aden refineries.
The electricity service will further improve in the coming days, pointing out that the crisis of 80 percent of the electrical generation system in Aden has gone out of service as a result of fuel depletion, and measures to ensure that this does not happen again.
