Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Dr. Wa'id Badhib held discussions today, Tuesday, in the interim capital Aden with the Resident Representative of the UNICEF in Yemen Peter Hopkins over the UNICEF's interventions in the fields of social protection, emergency cash transfers and the multi-indicators cluster survey.
Separately, Dr. Badhip met today the Deputy Director of the World Food Program (WFP) Montita Chimoca whose tenure in our country has expired now.
The Minister praised the WFP's significant interventions and efforts to support the government's efforts to manage the hardships the Yemeni peoples have been struggling with due to the circumstances of the war.
Minister Badhib also met with the Deputy Director of the Norwegian Center for Resolving Disputes Mohammed Ismail.
The conversations dealt with the Center's interventions in health sector in the governorates of Aden, Lahj, Abyan, al-Dhale'a and Shabwa to support health reproductive facilities and services, woman protection programs and children programs.
