Minister of Foreign and Expatriate Affairs Ahmed Awadh BinMubarak received Monday Ambassador of Sweden to Yemen Petra Menander and Swedish Envoy for Yemen Peter Semneby discussing with them latest development in Yemen.
BinMubarak touched upon Houthi terrorist militia's continuous negative approach towards efforts exerted for realizing peace in Yemen and proceeding with the policy of violence, the worse of it is the economic war on Yemeni people.
He confirmed that the government has been shouldering its responsibilities towards Yemeni people and is working on tackling humanitarian and economic situations and is ready for war if it is imposed on it and for peace if the militia surrender to it.
For their part, the Swedish diplomats confirmed continuous support of their country to any effort for realizing peace and regaining security and stability in Yemen, reaffirming firms position of Sweden on supporting Yemen's unity and sovereignty.
