Liberated governorates: Police seize 1029 persons in connection with 1295 criminal cases during July

The number of crimes recorded by security services in the liberated governorates during last July has amounted to nearly 1295 serious and non-serious crimes, including 90 non-criminal incidents.

The security services in reports for the month of July indicated that they seized 855 crimes, exposed their causes and circumstances, and arrested the perpetrators, while research and investigation procedures are still ongoing regarding the rest of the crimes to bring their perpetrators to justice.

The security apparatuses indicated that they seized during the same period 1,029 wanted men for their involvement in crimes during previous periods, stressing that most of their names were included in the black lists, which had been circulated at various security checkpoints and ports of entry.

The security services recorded 90 non-criminal incidents during July of this year, including fire accidents, short-circuit accidents, accidents of falls and drowning, work injuries, suicide cases, and suffocation.
