Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council Dr. Rashad al-Alimi discussed Tuesday with President of the United Arab Emirates Mohammad bin Zayed Al Nahyan mutual relations between the two countries, latest developments in Yemen and a number of issues of common concern.
The UAE President welcomed President al-Alimi and congratulated him on the National Day of the Republic of Yemen marking the 22nd of May, hoping progress and development to Yemeni people.
President al-Alimi expressed gratitude to the UAE under the leadership of Mohammad bin Zayed for its courageous positions towards Yemeni people and their political leadership, in addition to the UAE economic, humanitarian and developmental interventions.
For his part, President Mohammad bin Zayed confirmed support of the UAE to the Yemeni people in their efforts for realizing peace, stability and development.
