Yemen's ambassador to Beirut Abdullah Addoays and Deputy Minister Naser Shareef told the newly appointed Executive Secretary of the ESCWA that Yemen is looking forward to more coordination with the UN organization especially in this period of time when reconstruction of the war-ravaged Yemeni cities needs to start.
The two Yemeni officials met the Executive Secretary Mohammed al-Hakim in Beirut on Tuesday.
Shareef briefed al-Hakim on what Yemeni ports of entry, land and sea, to be re-operated; studies, experts and finances.
On his part, Al-Hakim said the ESCWA is ready to support Yemen in different fields.
