The Member of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC) Dr. Abdullah al-Alimi met today, Tuesday, with the Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to the Republic of Yemen Thomas Friedrich.

They conferred over Yemeni-German bilateral relations and cooperation as well as the recent developments in the region.

Dr. al-Alimi expressed gratitude to the German government for its constant support for the Yemeni people, greatly valued the significant contribution of the Federal Republic of Germany to the humanitarian and development actions in Yemen.

He also highlighted the importance of supporting the Yemeni government and enabling it to deliver on its obligations.

The German Ambassador stated that his country is interested in pursuing support for the PLC and the Yemeni government, further promoting bilateral cooperation.
