MOCHA – SABA
A relief convoy carrying 400 food barcels has been launched, supported by Al-Najat Charity Society in the State of Kuwait and implemented by Rooh Al-Ataa Foundation for Development and Education, as part of an urgent humanitarian response to assist families impacted by floods in Mocha district, Taiz Governorate.
The project was carried out in coordination with the Office of Social Affairs and Labor, the Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation Office, and the Executive Unit for the Management of IDP Camps, enhancing the effectiveness of the humanitarian response and ensuring the rapid delivery of aid to the most affected groups.
The Director General of Mocha District Sultan Mahmoud, praised the humanitarian role played by the State of Kuwait, expressing appreciation for its swift response in supporting those impacted by the floods.
He emphasized the importance of such interventions in alleviating the suffering of impacted families and meeting their basic needs.
He also expressed his appreciation for the continuous support provided by Al-Najat Charity Society, recognizing it as one of the key humanitarian organizations contributing to this urgent relief effort.
For his part, the head of Rooh Al-Ataa Foundation for Development and Education, Abdulraouf Al-Yousofi confirmed that the project is an extension of the significant humanitarian role played by the State of Kuwait through its charitable institutions.
He highlighted the foundation’s commitment to continuing its humanitarian interventions and reaching as many affected families as possible.
This intervention comes within the broader humanitarian efforts aimed at alleviating the suffering of those impacted by the floods and providing them with essential food supplies amid the difficult conditions caused by the disaster.
