The Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Dr. Afrah al-Zouba discussed today, Tuesday, in the temporary capital Aden, with the Ambassador of the European Union (EU) to the Republic of Yemen Patrick Simonnet aspects of joint cooperation and partnership.

The talks covered a range of topics, including the government's top priorities, challenges need to be addressed and the needed support from the international partners and EU.

Al-Zouba heaped praise on the EU's constant and significant support for Yemen in different sectors, underlining the need for the EU's assistance to help the government carry out the reforms program and to improve basic services.

The EU Ambassador stated that the EU is going to continue its support for Yemen to help the government to make the necessary economic reforms and improve basic services.
