The Governor of al-Mahra governorate Mohammed Yasser convened a meeting today, Sunday, of the Emergency Committee in the governorate devoted to discuss the developments of the weather conditions in the governorate due to its exposure to a low-pressure system.

The Committee discussed the precautionary measures need to be taken and what have already taken by the executive offices and military and security units over the past days.

The Committee urged raising the state of preparedness, activating operations rooms, preparing emergency and relief teams and monitoring the situations of districts and areas exposed to flood risks.
