Minister of Industry and Trade Dr. Mohamed al-Ashwal discussed today, Friday, with the Ethiopian Minister of Trade Dr. Kassahun Gofo ways to promote economic and trade relations between the two countries.

The conversations took place on the sidelines of the 14th Ministerial Conference of the World Trade Organization in the Cameroonian capital Yaoundé.

The two Ministers highlighted the need for developing mechanisms for joint cooperation that serve mutual interests.

They also underscored the importance of activating the Yemen-Ethiopia Joint Committee, intensifying regional and international coordination, working to increase trade volume to contribute toward achieving a sustainable economic partnership between the two countries.
