The Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Dr. Shaya Zindani stated that the government approached peace track responsibly and flexibly , but the intransigence Houthi of militias and their repeated rejection to honor commitments and agreements have undermined opportunities to achieve peace.
During his discussions today, Thursday, with a delegation from the European Institute of Peace headed by Ambassador Hisham Youssef, he made it clear that any upcoming negotiations must start from clear and unambiguous frameworks, based on the principle of restoring the state and eliminating the coup.
The Prime Minister proclaimed that after the anti-Houthi militias national forces had been united , the government has got a stronger and more consistent negotiating position amid rapid regional and international developments.
"Sustainable peace cannot be based on fragile understandings or arrangements that bypass the state, he said.
