The UNESCO Intergovernmental Committee for the Safeguarding of Intangible Cultural Heritage has inscribed the Hadrami Dan on the Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity during its 20th session in New Delhi.

The Hadrami Dan is a traditional Yemeni art form that encompasses poetry, music, and singing from Hadramout province in eastern Yemen. It reflects various aspects of social, cultural, and creative life in the region.

Yemen's Permanent Representative to UNESCO, Dr. Mohammed Jumayh thanked the Ministry of Culture, the National Committee, and the Hadramout Cultural Foundation for their efforts in preparing and funding the nomination file, which was awarded the inscription certificate by UNESCO's Assistant Director-General for Culture in New Delhi.
